This quarters feature artist is one of my favorite photographers. I may be a little bias because she is also my fiancé, but still an amazing artist in her own right. I want everyone to meet Missfit Studios lead photographer Nina LaRose.

Before we left Los Angeles CA Nina starting doing a series of photos with some of our favorite models. Two of her favorite locations to shoot were the beaches, and the deserts of California. It was something about the California sunsets and the ability to travel from a beautiful exotic beach to the gorgeous desert all in one day really inspired Nina.

This limited edition print series shows off just what she meant. For this collection she teamed up with the well known fashion and alternative model Shawna Crenshaw. Shawna has some of the most amazing tattoo work in the industry and her skin literally looks like paintings in the sand in this collection of images. 

I’ve seen a lot of images that Nina and Shawna have created together over the years, but this series really spoke to me and I had to highlight it as the first in my series of featured artists. 

Each image in this series is limited edition, so once they are sold I will no longer be printing them or doing reprints. Each print also comes with a letter of authenticity from the artist.
