ROOM//NOIR 006: God Is Watching Conceptual Photography Poster turns a black-and-white portrait into something more psychological. The photograph is stripped down to expression, shadow, grain, and a single unsettling idea written across the frame.
A red eye sits above the subject like a symbol of awareness. Below it, the words “God is watching” feel somewhere between a warning, a question, and a reminder.
Who is watching? What do they see? And does knowing we are being observed change who we become?
The rough handwritten lettering and imperfect texture keep the piece from feeling polished or precious. It has the energy of something written quickly on a wall, passed between strangers, or found scribbled in the margin of an old photograph.
The image never completely explains itself.
