Quiet Bloom is part of The Madam Soph Studies, a fine art photography series created with Madam Soph in Los Angeles.

Framed between bold botanical patterns, Soph becomes the quiet center of the composition. Her tattoos bring their own color, texture, and history to the image, while her upward gaze and relaxed posture create a moment that feels calm and completely self-possessed.

What drew me to this frame was the contrast between the visual energy surrounding her and the stillness she brings to the photograph. The patterns compete for attention, yet Soph’s presence holds the image together. Her form, tattoos, expression, and surroundings become different layers of the same portrait.
